Lashes formed The Tidy Girls with fellow female UK DJ Anne Savage. Now, under new management, she is working more or less without a regular DJing partner. Lashes plays mainly in England, but also plays around the world including U.S., Canada, South Korea, South Africa, Japan, Australia and China. Lashes is part-resident in Ibiza during the summer season, with her own Lashed in Ibiza nights at Eden nightclub.

Lashes has her own record label, Lashed, and has previously released mix albums released by Telstar, Tidy Trax and Ministry Of Sound.

Lashes was the featured artist on the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix on October 1, 2000 and December 5, 2004. Lashes is the first and only female to be considered among the top ten DJs in the world by DJ Magazine, ranking ninth in 2000 and continuing as the top-ranking female DJ in 2001, 2002, and 2003.

In 2007 she fell to no. 83 in the DJ Magazine poll, but won the highest hard dance DJ award as well as being the highest woman, with techno DJ Magna being the only other female to make it into the top 100, as noted in the official analysis of the Top 100 Results on HarderFaster.net that were released exclusively at midnight on the night of the awards ceremony.
