Hailing from Leicester, H ‘two’ O are DJ’s Solution & Oz aka Selim and Simon, who have enlisted the help of Platnum, a youthful trio made up of hip hop / RnB / garage vocalists Aron, Mina and Michelle, repping Manchester.
With ‘What’s It Gonna Be’, the collusion of both groups has created another perfect piece of female friendly bassline that will no doubt capture the hearts and minds of both garage aficionados and pop enthusiasts alike, and is heralding a new speed garage renaissance in the North of England.
Overlaying a pulsating 2-step beat, Platnum replenish the track with an overly infectious hook coupled with swooning lyrics and rhymes, this is going to be a smash hit single guaranteed. Not only is the song already on regular rotation on numerous pirate and niche stations, but it has been placed on the Upfront playlists for Radio 1 and Kiss weeks ahead of its release, as well as receiving serious support from 1Xtra DJs - Cameo has named it one of his Big tracks for 2008.
With over 250,000 hits on youtube, and with a huge new remix package from the likes of Thomas Gold, Vandalism, Jason Herd, 1xtras DJ Q and super bassline DJ/producer Jamie Duggan, this is set to cause a storm in the UK charts!
2007 will be remembered as the year bassline house first topped the charts and 2008 is set to be the year it will dominate! Producers H2O have teamed up with vocalists Platnum to create the club anthem Whats It Gonna Be. Hot on the heels of T2s runaway smash Heartbroken
The track is already massive in the bassline and niche scenes and it will only be a matter of time before the tracks popularity crosses over to the mainstream - envisage a multitude of teenagers rinsing this tune off their mobiles on public transport across the UK and you wont be far off the mark.
Whats It Gonna Be is out on hot new label HARD2BEAT home of current #1 smash Now Youre Gone by Basshunter! The new super label has started the year on a high and is set to continue its success with this massive offering!
